Rosie's 3rd birthday today. We had a nice time :) Ten kids, a few babies and their mums (plus a few Dads) and not too much bother. I didnt rain, although threatened and we had the gazebo anyway. Just as well cos if they were all in the house I think we would have had sugar related meltdown for sure. I think Rosie enjoyed it. A bit overwhelmed maybe but she really got into the present thing! And crashed in bed as soon as her head hit the pillow, bless her. So grown up, just like a proper little person.

Didnt feel weird today about her birthday. First one you are just glad you survived the first year. And think about the birth and what you were doing that day. Second one wondering how the time is flying and how recently it was you were doing her first birthday. This time it kind of felt she had been three for a while, and we were just celebrating it. Maybe thats something to do with having a baby too. Kind of feel sad for her now like its over for another year, like you did when you were a kid going to bed on your birthday knowing it was over.
